On January 7, a post titled "Most recent ranking of ideal types among idols selected by teens." The post showcases the results of a survey taken by South Korean teens aged 13–18, where they selected which K-pop idols best match their ideal types.

Each idol goes through a this-or-that portion until they are named the victor by the voter. Teens could select from several male idols, from long-time veterans to rookies.
From all the K-pop idols that could be picked, ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo was named the idol that suits the ideal types of Korean teens the most. He garnered 10.82% of the votes.

This comes as no surprise for K-pop fans. Throughout his career, idol-actor Cha Eunwoo has gone viral for his prince-like visuals. With his perfectly symmetrical fans, he is often dubbed the epitome of the male South Korean beauty standard.
In response to the results of the survey, many agreed that Cha Eunwoo is an obvious choice, as he is well-liked by both men and women. Some joked that teens nowadays can definitely tell when someone is good-looking, with one even commenting, "Looks like even the young ones nowadays know what handsome is."

Of course, this is simply the "Cha Eunwoo Effect." Thanks to his gorgeous visuals, Cha Eunwoo has become renowned in the industry. His presence in media and advertising may have helped his ranking, as brands always seen an uptick in sales and traffic when the idol promotes their product. Liberclassy, a fashion brand, stated the Cha Eunwoo helped them garner 70 million KRW in pre-order sales alone.
Cha Eunwoo is slated to embark on his first solo fan concert, "June One 10 Minutes: Mystery Elevator," in 2024. The fan concert will start on February 17 in South Korea and have stops in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and Indonesia.
