Zhang Hao's ad display at Times Square received outrageous reactions from ZEROSEs, who aired their frustration on social media.

ZEROSEs Enraged with ZEROBASEONE Zhang Hao's Ad in Times Square Due to Breach of Privacy

On January 9, ZEROSEs vented on social media regarding Zhang Hao's public ad in New York Times Square.

According to posts, both Korean and international netizens saw the ad featuring Zhang Hao lying in a pool of water. The photo was also shown to be cropped, as it was accompanied by Zhang Hao's name in its top section.

ZEROSEs then voiced out their frustration to whoever chose the image for promotion since the photo came from DearU Bubble app, a platform and safe space where idols and fans can interact with one another.

Many fans also suggested the organizer to think twice before putting any image up on display. Others recalled similar incidents involving ZB1 members Matthew and Gunwook, who also got posted publicly without their consent according to fans.

This isn't the first time Zhang Hao has sparked a discussion about boundaries. On September 11, 2023, the "In Bloom" singer made buzz in online communities for numerous photos that went viral, showing him being followed by a couple of fans in a public area.

The content uploaded in a thread showed fans taking photos of him aboard the escalator, drawing shocking reactions from both domestic and international netizens due to the spine-chilling gesture towards Zhang Hao.
