(G)I-DLE Breaks Personal Record in Stock Pre-Orders with '2,' Album Reaches New 'Million' Milestone
The album's sales performance is currently on the rise ahead of its release!
On January 24, Cube Entertainment officially announced that (G)I-DLE's upcoming second studio album "2" had broken a new record. According to sources, "2" exceeded a total of 1.8 million stock pre-orders.
With this achievement, it marks (G)I-DLE's highest stock pre-order number in their career. The album has also surpassed the group's previous record of 1.1 million stock pre-orders achieved by their sixth mini album "I feel," which was released on May 15, 2023.

Furthermore, (G)I-DLE's album "2" made stiff competition with the 1.8 million stock pre-order figure set by aespa's third mini album "MY WORLD."
Presently, the highest figure to exist among any K-pop girl group is currently held by BLACKPINK, who gained a record of 2 million pre-orders for "BORN PINK" in 2022.

This milestone is another feat worth adding to (G)I-DLE's slew of achievements, as their stock pre-order figure had determined their album's level of demand. Since the album was well-received prior to its release, (G)I-DLE would surely kick off the year 2024 with a good start.
"2," along with its title track "Super Lady" will be released on January 29, at 6 p.m., KST.
