Following the release of "Super Lady," (G)I-DLE Shuhua attracted the attention of K-pop fans after noticing her facial expression. What's wrong?

On February 2, an article in an online forum featuring the female idol rose as a trending topic after the OP wrote a post titled, "Now I understand why they say Shuhua's facial expression is the same."

In the writing, the author attached photos of the star taken from three different comeback eras, including "Nxde," "Queen Card," and Super Lady" with the idol having an unchanging expression.

As a result, it sparked a discussion among K-pop fans and internet users, debating about whether it is a good trait or not.

K-Netz Called Shuhua 'Incompetent' for Not Having Diverse Facial Expressions

In the article, the author wrote:

"It's not a moment capture. It's the same expression during the ending scene or throughout the opening.

Since 'Nxde' release, she has only made an expression with her eyes half-closed and mouth slightly opened.

The concepts weren't all the same, but after learning one thing, she really only used one."

After uploading, the article garnered more than 160k, with over 500 recommendations. In the comment section, numerous netizens agreed to this and pointed out that it is a shame that Shuhua has been using the same facial expression since then.

While they praise Soyeon for suggesting this expression to Shuhua, netizens implied that her lack of expression isn't really the problem, but her "lack in ability."

Internet users emphasized the idol's "incompetence," saying:

• "Is Shuhua's incompetence showing because (G)I-DLE members are relatively good, or is it because Shuhua is just really incompetent?"
• "I hope she stops using that facial expression. In fact, I feel like her popularity declined ever since she started doing that."

On the flip side, (G)I-DLE's fandom Nevies praised the idol regardless of the negative comments she's receiving & acknowledged her huge improvement.

Regarding her facial expression, fans think that she's using it well with her pretty face and no matter what, she's an indispensable member of the girl group.

Fans cheered her by leaving comments such as:
