In a broadcast, Choi Yena revealed that she still meets with IZ*ONE members, attesting to their close friendship even after disbanding. Here, she also mentioned who pays for their food during their get-togethers.

Who Pays When IZ*ONE Members Gather? Choi Yena Names Chaewon, Kwon Eunbi

On February 6, soloist Choi Yena flexed her financial status as she appeared as a guest for the YouTube web show, "Don't Forget Your Breakfast 2."

On this day, she also mentioned IZ*ONE, the group to which she debuted before they parting ways in 2021 to pursue their respective careers.

Choi Yena debuted in 2018 as IZ*ONE and enjoyed massive popularity as the main rapper. During their active days, they created numerous hits, such as "FIESTA," "Secret Story of the Swan," "Violeta," "Panorama," and more.

Unfortunately, the project girl group disbanded in 2021 after three years, and since then, the 12 members pursued their respective careers.

Japanese members Nako and Hitomi returned to Japan, while Minju and Hyewon entered the acting industry.

Kwon Eunbi, Choi Yena, Jo Yuri, and Lee Chaeyeon pursued solo singing careers, whereas An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung re-debuted as IVE, the same for Kim Chaewon and Sakura who joined LE SSERAFIM.

Despite that, Yena attested to WIZ*ONE (fandom) that the girl group members are still as close as ever. In fact, the members often meet each.

Yena specifically meets LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon the most frequently among them, and when Jang Sung Kyu asked who would usually pay for the meal, Yena said:

"The one who earns more money should do it."

Yena drew laughter by revealing who's the one earning higher between them by saying:

"Chaewon will be like, 'I'll pay, unnie.' So I would reply, 'Sure, do it. Since you make more money, you should be the one to pay.'"

While the case is like this between members, Jang Sung Kyu then expressed curiosity about how they would usually pay for a group with 12 members.

Just then, Yena recalled the time Kwon Eunbi paid for all of the members' food when they dined in at an expensive restaurant, proving her loyalty and generosity as the group's leader even after disbandment.

"I think we usually split the bill. How can we pay for 12 people? There was a time when our food bill alone was over 10 million won ($7.55k).

But recently, we ate at a really expensive restaurant. I’ve eaten there before and it's really expensive to eat meat at such a restaurant, but Eunbi unnie paid for them."

Meanwhile, the idol also talked about her financial status after debuting as a soloist. Yena recalled what she did with her first salary and said:

"I went on an overseas trip with my family for the first time last year. I've been there again this year."

She also surprised viewers by saying that she bought her parents a house in Yangpyeong, aside from the house that she is currently living in with his older brother. She also bought a car from a famous brand.
