13 K-pop Artists Dominating Billboard's 1st-Week World Albums Chart in February 2024
Billboard has officially announced its first World Albums chart rankings for February 2024 which concluded on the 10th. The list contained numerous artists from around the world. However, several K-pop artists stood out in the rankings with their music releases.
Here are Top 12 K-pop artists reigning Billboard's 1st World Albums Chart in February 2024!
1. Stray Kids - 'ROCK-STAR'
Out of all artists who entered the World Albums Chart, Stray Kids reigned the list after claiming the No. 1 spot with their eighth mini album "ROCK-STAR." The album was released on November 10, 2023, along with its title track "LALALALA."
2. NewJeans - 'Get Up'
NewJeans managed to snag a place on No. 2 after landing their second mini album "Get Up." In 2023, the album became one of K-pop's best highlights, due to its songs, concept, and NewJeans' performances.
3. ENHYPEN - 'ORANGE BLOOD'
While ENYPEN's "ORANGE BLOOD" ranked No. 3 on this list, the album made it on No. 4 in the original rankings. "ORANGE BLOOD" is ENHYPEN's fifth mini album, which was released on November 17, 2023, along with its title track "Sweet Venom."
4. ATEEZ - 'THE WORLD EP. FIN: WILL'
On December 1, 2023, ATEEZ officially released their second full-length album "THE WORLD EP. FIN: WILL" and its title track "Crazy Form."
Eventually, the album received good feedback on music charts. According to Billboard's newest World Albums Chart, the album successfully defended its place at No. 5.
5. NMIXX - 'Fe304: BREAK'
NMIXX followed closely in sixth place with their second mini album "Fe304: BREAK." The album was released on January 14, alongside title track "Dash."
However, NMIXX's return was already highly anticipated by NSWERs and the K-pop community due to the group's pre-release track "Soñar (Breaker)," which was released on December 4, 2023.
6. BTS - 'Proof'
Despite being released on June 10, 2022, BTS's anthology album "Proof" made it to the Top 10 and placed No. 7. Furthermore, the album was commanded by title track "Yet To Come."
7. BTS Jimin - 'FACE'
Jimin secured No. 8 with his solo debut album "FACE."
8. TOMORROW X TOGETHER - 'The Name Chapter: FREEFALL'
TXT rounded the Top 10 after placing their third full-length album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" on the list.
9. Stray Kids - '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'
Stray Kids' "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" made it on No. 11.
10. SEVENTEEN - 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN'
SEVENTEEN defended No. 12 with "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN."
11. (G)I-DLE - '2'
(G)I-DLE's second full album "2" entered the World Albums Chart for the first time, placing at No. 13.
12. LE SSERAFIM - 'UNFORGIVEN'
LE SSERAFIM's "UNFORGIVEN" claimed No. 14.
13. FIFTY FIFTY - 'The Beginning'
FIFTY FIFTY secured No. 15 with their first single album "The Beginning."
