On February 15, 2024, (G)I-DLE dropped the music video for "Revenge." The music video follows the story of a woman in an abusive relationship (played by Shuhua). After she gets attacked, she fights back, and the other members help hide the evidence.

Shuhua played two roles in the music video: a woman stuck in an abusive relationship and an investigator trying to solve the mysterious murder of the man.

Following the release of the music video, Shuhua garnered praise for her exceptional acting skills.

There was one scene in particular that earned Shuhua the most praise. During the peak of the music video, we see Shuhua being strangled from the perspective of the man. As she fights back, she is able to bite the hand of the man, causing him to release her.

As she falls back onto the sofa, she hurriedly grabs an object by the table and smashes it against his head. The camera shows the man reaching out to where he was hit, and blood immediately covers his hand. He looks over at Shuhua, who is backed up against the sofa, looking terrified.

This intense scene showcased Shuhua's diverse acting skills. In the past, she has been praised for her expressive face in music videos, but this is the first time fans have seen Shuhua play such a dark role. People believe she was able to embody her character well.

It is well-known among Neverlands ((G)I-DLE fans) that Shuhua initially dreamed of becoming an actress. She would watch actors on TV and dream of becoming like that. As a result, she attended an art school and practiced acting in front of a mirror every day. Her dream changed to becoming an idol after discovering HyunA.

Though she is an idol, her skill in acting is apparent. Many are hoping the idol gets to make her acting debut one day, whether in South Korea or in her home country, Taiwan.
