Currently, fourth-gen girl groups NewJeans, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, aespa, and more are dominating the music scene with their A-class visuals and talents.

At the start of 2024, boy groups ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, TWS, BOYNEXTDOOR, and more already opened the door for the fifth generation with their hits.

But with the debut of these additional seven girl groups, will they finally cement the new K-pop era?

I'LL-IT

Selected through HYBE x JTBC's audition program, "R U Next?," I'LL-IT is set to debut on March 25 under Belift Lab.

Originally a six-member group, the team became a quintet, comprised of Wonhee, Minju, Iroha, Moka, and Yunah, after Youngseo decided to cancel her debut.

Fans are showing high interest in the group without Youngseo, who is considered a member who plays a vital role in their popularity.

UNIS

Created through the SBS's survival show, "Universe Ticket," eight members Elisia, Yunha, Seowon, Gehlee, Nana, Hyeonju, Yoona, and Kotoko will debut as UNIS under F&F Entertainment.

They are expected to debut in the first half of 2024, with the target month of March.

WICHU

After aespa, SM Entertainment is finally preparing for the debut of a new girl group!

SMNGG 2024 trainees are already being introduced at their training unit's SNS and they are said to be launched in the second half of 2024.

While limited information is known about them, there are rumors that the girl group will be named WICHU (with you), based on the trademark rights application submitted by the label.

THEBLACKLABEL New Girl Group

Although their official name is yet to be revealed, YG's affiliate company, THEBLACKLABEL, is drawing massive attention for hinting at the debut of its first-ever girl group.

In a leaked photo, seven members are said to join the group and they are also set to take off their veils in the first half of 2024.

There is a high expectation of them as the first girl group to be solely created by Teddy Park, the producer behind 2NE1 and BLACKPINK.

RESCENE

Although The Muze Entertainment is a small company, its upcoming girl group RESCENE is amassing overwhelming anticipation from K-Netz after seeing the five members who possess jaw-dropping visuals. One of them even became the visual model for the virtual idol, MAVE!

They already released their profile photos ahead of their debut in March.

Candy Shop

After 13 years, Brave Brother will launch their new girl group following Brave Girls!

In January, Brave Entertainment unveiled the profile poster of its new team, Candy Shop which plans to debut in the first half of 2024.

ViV

Lastly, ViV is a five-member rookie girl group created by Eva Entertainment and will also debut in 2024.

It attracted attention upon announcement as the four members Yume, Dana, Nagomi and Tzuling aside from Vella were all former participants of the survival show, "Girls Planet 999."
