The remarks are from a previous appearance on the YouTube channel MMTG-Civilization Express.

During the video, MC Jaejae mentioned having a pre-meeting with guest Karina, saying, "There's a rumor that Karina lives her day as if it's 48 hours long."

This isn't surprising considering Karina is known for being a "dopamine addict." She has revealed she has several hobbies such as watching music broadcasts, monitoring new songs, keeping up with social media trends, collecting emoticons, writing diaries, watching dramas, transcribing after reading, and practicing the piano.

At the time, Karina revealed her new hobby was watching anime. She was also invested in the Netflix original series "The Glory," and expressed her desire to work with writer Kim Eun Sook.

She also revealed that she watches highlight videos of popular Korean dating shows. Specifically, she watches Instagram reels of "EXchange," YouTube shorts of "Heart Signal," and TikTok videos of "I Am Solo."

She then dug dipper into watching "EXchange." In Korean, the title of the show is "환승연애," which means to date consecutively and leave your partner for someone else.

During the conversation, Karina shocked everyone by saying, "We always talk about how interesting it would be if there's a celebrity version of 'EXchange'!"

At the time, Karina's statements flew under the radar. However, it is now being resurfaced as it relates to the current allegations her boyfriend, Lee Jae Wook, is facing.

On February 29, 2024, TenAsia released an exclusive report stating Lee Jae Wook was dating an actress until December of last year. The report claims several industry insiders confirmed this, stating the two dated for over a year.

They then stated that Lee Jae Wook and Karina started dating in January. Many accused the actor of leaving his girlfriend with the intention of dating Karina.
