Wonyoung is considered by many as the fourth generation's "It Girl" because of her ability to generate buzz with her presence online. Not only is Wonyoung able to trend with her brand reputation and popularity, but can also do so with her appearance alone.

On March 13, netizens gathered in an online thread, which discussed Wonyoung's perfect proportions.
The author uploaded a screenshot taken from the second day of IVE's newest fanmeeting "MAGAZINE IVE" earlier on March 10. The image showed Wonyoung flaunting her towering height, accompanied by her refined proportions and stunning visuals.
"Jang Wonyoung's proportions," OP shared. "Anyone would think that (this picture) is edited."
This was followed by the comments of netizens, who raved about Wonyoung's webtoon-like physique. International DIVEs also joined in the appreciation thread to compliment Wonyoung.

IVE Jang Wonyoung Secures Legal Win Against YouTuber Sojang
In other news, Wonyoung won her lawsuit against controversial YouTuber Sojang, who is infamous for producing controversies and spreading harmful speculations regarding celebrities and idols.
On January 17, agency Starship Entertainment released an official statement, stating that the case was won by a deemed confession.
"Starship Entertainment monitors the honor, privacy, and human rights of its artists," the agency stated. "We will continue to take legal action against defamation and damages."
Afterwards, on January 18, Korean news outlets reported that Sojang had hired "part-timers" to leave out negative comments to Wonyoung. The reports gained massive traction on social media and the ire of the K-pop community.
