A fourth-gen and fifth-gen idol were reportedly spotted on a date, leading many to question if the two are in a relationship. 

It's only the first half of 2024, yet the Korean entertainment industry has seen many couples emerge. Most recently, Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee confirmed they're in a relationship. In the K-pop scene, fans were left shocked when aespa Karina and actor Lee Jae Wook are going out.

Now, it appears another K-pop couple has been exposed for their relationship.

AIMER Doryun & ViV Yume Spotted on Date

On March 20, 2024, a Korean netizen shared proof that Doryun and Yume are dating on their X (formerly Twitter) account.

Both idols shared photos of them standing on a sandy beach near a sunset. The photo was taken at Gwangalli Beach in Busan, a famous tourist spot among both locals and international travelers.

The beach features its iconic skyline, which includes a bridge. It also has become a popular photo-taking spot.

People posting images from the same place is often dubbed "lovestagram," and has been one of the evidences provided to show idols dating. However, people usually need more proof before accusing two public figures of dating.

A small detail in both photos, however, is being used as substantial proof that they went on the beach together.

It was noted that the bridge in the background is not the only major detail present in both photos. In the background of both Doryun and Yume's photos, beachgoers can be seen taking photos. In both photos, a man wearing a brown coat and blue jeans is seen taking a photo, standing near a rock formation.

Additionally, both photos feature a woman with a satchel purse near the man taking photos.

On top of that, the footprints on the sand are nearly identical in both photos.

As it is not uncommon for idols to travel to get away from the public eye, people believe the two idols went to Busan for a secret date.

As of writing, their agencies have not released a statement on the matter.

Who are AIMERS Doryun & ViV Yume?

Doryun debuted as a member of AIMERS on November 17, 2022, and is currently signed under Hyper Rhythm.

Born on May 1, 2000, he is one of the group's vocalists and was the third member announced as part of the line-up. Prior to his debut, he studied at the Dong Ah Institute of Media and Arts and majored in K-pop.

Yume is a member of ViV, a girl group under EVA Entertainment Korea set to debut this year. She was the first member to be revealed. Prior to signing with EVA Entertainment, Yume was a member of Biscuit Entertainment and Hyper Rhythm. As Doryun is signed under the latter label, it is likely they met while both training there.

Fans may remember Yume as a contestant on Mnet's "Girls Planet 999." She was eliminated in episode five with a final rank of J23. Her final cell rank was 26.
