On March 22, 2024, a post, titled "RIIZE Wonbin just released his pre-debut photo," was published on a popular South Korean online community forum.

The original poster (OP) shared pre-debut photos Wonbin had shared with fans through the group's official Weverse account.

In one photo, Wonbin is seen posing in front of a mirror, wearing a dark blue long-sleeve collared shirt.

Different from the long, wolf-cut he debuted with, Wonbin is seen with round, short hair. His long bangs cover his forehead.

Along with the photo is a caption Wonbin left that reads, "I had this!"

In another photo, Wonbin is seen in front of a mirror again, wearing an oversized green knit sweater. His hairstyle in this photo is wildly different. It is much longer and more reminiscent of the wolf-cut he debuted with.

His bangs are so long that they touch his nose bridge and almost conceal his eyes.

In both photos, Wonbin is allegedly 18 or 19 years old.

The male idol's pre-debut photos soon went viral among Korean netizens. Many rushed to the comment section to gush over how handsome Wonbin looked, even before his idol days.

People loved how young he looked, with some joking that he looked like a baby. Many expressed shock that he was handsome even then, showing that Wonbin is a natural beauty!

In the past, it was revealed that Wonbin was cast through his Instagram, with a scout sending him a message through the platform. With these photos, people understood why SM Entertainment wanted to cast him, and joked that the company must be happy to have such a good-looking idol.
