On March 27, 2024, a post titled "I think the real beauty is her" was shared on a well-known South Korean online community forum. In the post, the original poster (OP) shared a photo of Tzuyu when she was competing on Mnet's "SIXTEEN" for a spot in the JYP Entertainment girl group.

The poster shared their disbelief that she was 16 years old at the time with such a stunning face. On top of that, she stands at 170cm tall, which many consider the perfect height for modeling.

Many rushed to the comment section to praise Tzuyu for her beauty. Korean netizens claimed that among the TWICE members, Tzuyu rises above as their visual thanks to her natural beauty.

Many state that Tzuyu's impact in the K-pop world was undeniable thanks to her visuals. After her debut, more companies released idols with visuals similar to hers. Following Tzuyu's virality, several idols would debut and earn the title of "Tzuyu lookalike." Some prime examples are former IZ*ONE Kim Minju and fromis_9 Lee Nakyung.

However, some people expressed disappointment. Tzuyu was at her peak popularity during TWICE's debut and "CHEER UP" era. After that, her popularity slowly decreased. Many believed it was a shame that someone as beautiful as Tzuyu was not generating as much buzz.
