A Japanese media outlet is drawing flak for spreading fake dating news concerning LE SSERAFIM members Kazuha and Chaewon.
Recently, Kazuha was embroiled in dating rumors with &TEAM member K. The news was broken out by a Japanese media outlet that claimed to have spotted the two on a date in Japan. After HYBE Labels denied the rumors, it was recently brought to light that the same media outlet once broke out a dating rumor concerning Chaewon.

On April 3, 2024, HYBE Labels denied that Kazuha was dating K. That same day, Japanese media outlet Shukan Bunshun claimed the LE SSERAFIM member was dating a handsome male idol who is six years older than her and stands at 186cm tall.

The outlet claimed the two enjoyed a two-hour date in a high-end yakiniku restaurant in Ginza back in March. Allegedly, the two started dating during the summer of 2022.

Following the news, it was soon discovered that the same media outlet released fake dating news concerning Chaewon in January.

In their report, they claimed Chaewon was dating a male rapper and released a supposed photo of them together. However, it was soon discovered the photo was photoshopped, and the original image was a selfie of Chaewon with co-member Sakura.

The rapper also stated that he is just a fan of Chaewon, and the photo was edited. Source Music quickly released a statement denying the rumors.
