BABYMONSTER debuted earlier on November 27, 2023, with "BATTER UP" as a six-membered group without Ahyeon. However, they re-debuted as seven members on April 1, with mini album "BABYMONS7ER" and title track "SHEESH."

The septet, now including Ahyeon in the lineup, has consistently broken records despite being new to the K-pop scene, and this has proved their status as a monster rookie. Since the group released "SHEESH," the promotions of the girls have been more active than ever.
However, with their prominence in the music scene and impact on the industry, fans noticed that something was "missing" in the group. They referred to their fandom name, which BABYMONSTER still doesn't have.

In other news, BABYMONSTER made headlines with their album sales in Hanteo Charts. According to its first-week sales record from April 1 to 7, "BABYMONS7ER" sold a total of 401,287 albums, overtaking ILLIT's record of 380,056 with "SUPER REAL ME."
As of April 11, the music video for "SHEESH" currently has a total of 100,233,740 views on YouTube. The MV was released on April 1, 2024.
