LE SSERAFIM Sakura's Absence From Group Schedules Receives Backlash, FEARNOTs Comfort & Defend Idol
Earlier on April 27, Korean news outlets reported that Sakura would not be attending the "3rd Mini Album 'EASY' Serial Number Online Event." The reason for the idol's absence was due to poor physical condition.
"Sakura will not be able to attend LE SSERAFIM's 'EASY' Serial Number Online Event' due to her poor physical health," the event organizer stated. Outlets added that the event will be held by four members Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae. The organizers also apologized for the sudden announcement, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and worry this has caused everyone, and to fans who were waiting for this event."
This was followed by sudden backlash from netizens, who called out Sakura for her absence in the autograph session.
Apart from the heat Sakura was receiving, LE SSERAFIM also stole everyone's attention with their Coachella performance, which drew both criticism and forced hate. This caused FEARNOTs to defend the group's live vocals, stage presence, and overall performance skills.
In a forum, netizens swarmed the platform with backhanded remarks directed to Sakura, including the action of considering a career switch and her singing skills.

- "Sakura should use this time to think through things since this is for her future."
However, there were internet users who defended Sakura and wished her a speedy recovery. Some called out the netizens who were hating on the idol.

On April 28, LE SSERAFIM made rounds on social media for their appearance at the Incheon International Airport, where they will depart for their fansign in China.
In the video's comments section and X (Twitter), FEARNOTs voiced out support for the group and Sakura. Some even demanded HYBE to give the girls a well-deserved break before heading to another schedule, while others relayed comforting words to Sakura.
