TWICE Jihyo Passes 'Mother' Title to THIS Co-Member: 'She's Served Looks, Written Songs...'
Jihyo revealed that this TWICE member recently transformed into a "mother," which is different from her initial shy image.
On May 21, Teen Vogue revealed its interview and pictorial with the "Nation's Girl Group" TWICE. Here, the nine members showcased their respective charms during the shoot.
While doing the individual pictorial, the publication then took time to strike up a conversation with each member. Among them, Jihyo showed her side as a strong and hands-on leader as she talked about her co-members.
In particular, Jihyo's remark about Momo was lauded by ONCEs as she mentioned that the main dancer recently became a "mother."
In context, "mother" is a queer term to describe someone who is "untouchable," "boss," "powerful," or "influential." It is most commonly used among the LGBTQ+ community and women.

In a solo interview with the same media last year, Jihyo learned this new term, which is heavily associated with her. Originally, she thought that it was "funny" that fans think about her with that kind of figure.
But it seems like she has accepted this title naturally, even officially acknowledging her co-member Momo as a co-mother!
Veering away from her usually shy personality, Jihyo hinted at Momo's transformation into a "lady boss" who has taken on various challenges over the course of time.
Jihyo, through Teen Vogue, said her co-member has "served looks, written songs, posed for the cover of various Japanese magazines, and become an ambassador for fashion and beauty brands."
Momo has long been praised for her outstanding dancing skills as one of the best K-pop main dancers, but thanks to her recent growth, she now isn't scared to take on new challenges, flaunting her "mother" energy!
Meanwhile, during the group pictorial, Jihyo continued to express her loving leader side as she conveyed how grateful she is for debuting together as nine members.
"We’re really thankful [that we have] nine members. For one person, one member can be their favorite and they might not like the rest, but because we push our team of nine together, the team vibes are really good. We’re really thankful because of that. And because of that, we actually get a lot closer."
