'Where's Suzy?' Fei's Viral Post Rekindles Rumors of Tension in miss A

A 15th-anniversary tribute by former Miss A member Fei has reignited long-standing rumors of discord within the disbanded K-pop girl group, particularly surrounding the group's most prominent member, Suzy.

On June 30, Fei shared a celebratory post on Weibo, marking 15 years since miss A's debut under JYP Entertainment in 2010.

The post included a photo of a cake and several of the group's albums, along with the caption, "#missA Forever! 🎂 Happy 15th Anniversary! 🥂"

While the post was intended to commemorate the group's milestone, a specific image from the update quickly went viral after it was reposted to X (formerly Twitter).

One image appeared to show Fei holding the group's Hush album in a way that obscured Suzy's face. A user captioned the post, "The way she hides Suzy's face on the Hush cover 😭😭😭," which garnered nearly 1 million views.

The viral moment follows Suzy's absence from fellow member Min's wedding earlier this year — an event attended by both Fei and Jia, which sparked renewed speculation about Suzy's relationship with her former groupmates.

During the group's disbandment in 2017, similar rumors emerged, fueled by Suzy's growing success as a solo artist and actress, as well as her perceived distance from the other members during public appearances.

Reports from the time noted instances where Suzy sat apart from the group during broadcasts and did not receive public support from the other members at her movie premieres.

"For fans who had hoped to see miss A reunited, it was a disappointing moment in many ways," South Korean outlet Sports Chosun reported.

Despite the new rumor, a second look at Fei's original Weibo posts and an Instagram post revealed more images, in which all four members—Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy—could be seen on album covers.

This context has led many fans to defend Fei, arguing the viral photo was taken out of context.

Fei has not publicly addressed the speculation.

Formed by JYP Entertainment, miss A debuted in July 2010 with the hit single "Bad Girl Good Girl." Though the group disbanded after only five years, its members — especially Suzy — have remained high-profile figures in the Korean entertainment industry.

As of Thursday, hashtags like "#missA" and "#Suzy" continue to trend on social media across South Korea and parts of Southeast Asia, as fans debate the legacy — and lingering tensions — of one of K-pop's most iconic girl groups.
