BLACKPINK has officially returned, with members Jennie and Jisoo sharing snapshots from rehearsals for their upcoming world tour and their agency sharing a teaser for a possible new song.

The K-pop superstars are set to hold the opening night of their "Deadline" World Tour at Goyang Stadium in Seoul on Saturday, July 5. Prior to the opening night, member Jisoo shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the group's preparation, posting rehearsal photos on Instagram with the caption "DEADLINE Let's Goooooooo" with black and pink heart emojis. The images show all four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—immersed in sound checks and dance practices alongside their concert crew.

Jennie also shared videos and photos of their rehearsal on her Instagram page, writing "Deadline tour starts tomorrow" in the caption.

Furthermore, YG Entertainment shared a comeback teaser titled "Ready to Jump?" While it is unclear if the 17-second clip points to a new song, the video electric guitar sounds and a pulsating beat that fans believe could be their comeback single—to be revealed during their tour.

The "Deadline" World Tour represents BLACKPINK's first all-stadium tour, encompassing 31 shows across 16 cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Following the Seoul kickoff shows on July 5 and 6, the group will head to the United States for performances at major venues including SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Soldier Field in Chicago.

Tickets for the tour sold out rapidly, with additional limited-view seats added to meet demand at the Seoul venue. The European and North American dates required additional shows due to overwhelming fan response, with extra performances added at venues including Wembley Stadium in London and Stade de France in Paris.

This marks BLACKPINK's official return to group activities after focusing on individual projects throughout 2024, with each member pursuing solo releases, fashion collaborations, and acting ventures. The group previously achieved massive success with their "Born Pink" tour, which attracted over 1.8 million attendees across 34 cities and 66 shows.
