YG Entertainment has revealed that BLACKPINK will release a new album in November, executive producer Yang Hyun-suk announced on Monday.
In a video posted to the company's official YouTube channel, Yang indicated that both the members and their production team are fully engaged in the project and working intensively to meet the planned timeline.
The announcement came as part of a broader update on YG's artist lineup for the second half of 2025. Alongside news of BLACKPINK's upcoming release, Yang also shared schedules for two of the label's newer acts. Boy group TREASURE is set to mark its fifth anniversary with a third mini-album, LOVE PULSE, due September 1.
Girl group BABYMONSTER will follow with a four-track EP titled WE GO UP on October 10, a slight delay from its originally announced October 1 date owing to Chuseok holiday distribution logistics.

In the video, Yang shared a few concrete details about BLACKPINK's project, explaining that the group remains in the midst of world tour activities while finalizing the new album. He noted that recording sessions and production meetings are ongoing, with members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa collaborating closely with both in-house and overseas producers.
No tracklist, concept photos, or teaser schedules were disclosed, but Yang assured fans that "producers and members are hard at work" to create a collection worthy of BLACKPINK's global stature.
Beyond music releases, YG plans to roll out a new in-house reality series for its artists. Following the success of "BLACKPINK House," the company teased "Demon House," with preview clips slated to appear starting in September. While the focus of "Demon House" will expand beyond BLACKPINK to include other YG acts, the series is expected to provide behind-the-scenes glimpses into the quartet's album preparations and tour life.
Industry observers note that BLACKPINK's last full-group comeback came in October 2020 with The Album, which became one of the best-selling K-pop albums of the year. Since then, the group has released solo singles, collaborated with international artists, and embarked on its first world tour. A November release would break the longest gap between studio comebacks in the group's history, but Yang's assurance has intensified anticipation among fans worldwide.
