On Aug. 31, a domestic media channel reported that Jimin and Song Da-eun had a short relationship prior to and after his military enlistment but later broke up.
The channel asserted that the video of a home date, which Song recently posted on social media, was recorded during their relationship.

Jimin and Song have been entangled in dating gossip since 2022. Song stoked gossip by posting pictures of a man who was thought to be Jimin, along with posting pictures of earphone holders inscribed with the names "Da-eun" and "Jimin."
