EJAE has signed with WME for worldwide representation across all areas of her music career, the agency announced on Wednesday.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for the vocalist and songwriter who gained international prominence through her work on Netflix's animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters."
As the singing voice of Rumi, the lead vocalist of the fictional girl group Huntr/X, EJAE became a central figure in the film's massive success. Beyond her vocal contributions, she played a pivotal role in composing and developing the soundtrack, co-writing multiple tracks that have achieved global chart dominance. Her performance on "Golden" propelled the song to eight consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the first song by a female K-pop act to reach the top position on the U.S. chart.

The accomplishment carries historical significance within the music industry. "Golden" has amassed nearly 850 million streams on Spotify and reached number one on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The track won Best Original Soundtrack at the K-World Dream Awards and received a nomination for Song of the Summer at the MTV Video Music Awards. The film's soundtrack achieved an unprecedented milestone by simultaneously placing four songs in the Billboard Top 10, the first time this has occurred in the platform's history.
EJAE's contributions extend beyond "Golden" to include other standout tracks from the film. She co-wrote "How It's Done," "What It Sounds Like," "Your Idol" for the rival boy group Saja Boys, and "Hunter's Mantra," which serves as a crucial instrumental component of the film's musical narrative.
Prior to becoming a breakout star through "K-Pop Demon Hunters," EJAE had established herself as a sought-after songwriter within the K-pop industry. Her songwriting credits include work with major acts such as aespa on "Drama" and "Armageddon," Red Velvet's "Psycho," and collaborations with Le Sserafim, Twice, Taeyeon, NMIXX, and Fifty Fifty. Additionally, she was nominated for Best Original Song in a Video Game at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in 2022 for "Rebirth" from "League of Legends."
EJAE recently performed "Golden" live with Huntr/X on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and appeared in a sketch on "Saturday Night Live." The WME representation provides her with global support for her continued solo work and future creative endeavors in the entertainment industry.
