BIGBANG member Daesung has announced the premature conclusion of his D's Wave Encore Asia tour due to ongoing throat health issues.
On Jan. 17, 2026, D-Label, Daesung's agency under R&D Company, informed fans that the tour would conclude after the scheduled Osaka concert later this month, canceling all remaining dates originally planned for the first half of 2026.
The decision came after consultation with medical professionals who advised prioritizing the artist's vocal health.
Daesung's agency released a statement thanking fans for their support throughout the 2025 Asia Tour: D's Wave and its encore series. The tour originally began in Seoul on Apr. 26, 2025, spanning 11 cities across Asia, including stops in Hong Kong, Kobe, and Sydney, according to allkpop.
The encore concerts kicked off with three sold-out shows in Seoul from Jan. 2 to 4, 2026, at TicketLink Live Arena.
The singer also personally apologized to fans through his official fan platform, expressing frustration over his voice not returning to normal condition as quickly as hoped.

"My voice is not returning to its normal condition as fast as I would like it to, which is leading me to spend my days fretting in frustration," Daesung wrote. He added that sometimes one must "face reality and endure moments of suffering in order to shine brighter when the time is right," the Korea Herald reported.
Daesung had previously battled throat issues during the Seoul encore performances, admitting he considered canceling the show but powered through after his voice returned once he took the stage. Despite these struggles, he delivered two-hour performances featuring 20 songs, including BIGBANG hits and solo tracks.
The tour cancellation comes as BIGBANG prepares for their highly anticipated 20th anniversary comeback in 2026, including a performance at Coachella in April.
Fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang made a guest appearance during the Seoul shows, hinting at the group's upcoming activities. The group, now consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, will reunite for their first performance since 2017, as per The Beat.
This marks the second cancellation for Daesung's D's Wave tour, as the Melbourne concert was previously called off in July 2025. Fans who purchased tickets for the canceled encore dates will receive information regarding refunds from the tour organizers.
