BLACKPINK member Rosé will make history as the first solo K-pop artist to perform at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 1, 2026.
The Recording Academy announced on Jan. 29 that the 28-year-old singer will take the stage at the ceremony, which will broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The performance marks a significant milestone for K-pop representation at Music's Biggest Night, following previous Grammy stage appearances by BTS in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Rosé earned three Grammy nominations this year for her global hit collaboration "APT." with Bruno Mars. The track received nominations in two of the ceremony's most prestigious Big Four categories: Record of the Year and Song of the Year, along with Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
This achievement makes Rosé the first female K-pop soloist to receive nominations in the Grammy's major general field categories, according to Billboard.
The song "APT." has dominated international charts since its October 2024 release, reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and securing the top position on Billboard's Global 200 chart for multiple weeks. The collaboration also became the first song by a K-pop artist to reach number one on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart.
While the Recording Academy has not confirmed whether Bruno Mars will join Rosé for the performance, industry observers consider it likely given his involvement in the nominated track, Kyodo News reported.
The 2026 Grammy Awards will also feature a performance by global girl group KATSEYE, which includes members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States. KATSEYE will participate in an extended segment showcasing all eight Best New Artist nominees, marking another significant moment for K-pop at the ceremony.
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Trevor Noah will host the ceremony for the sixth and final consecutive year, as per Forbes.
