ENHYPEN member Jake has made his official debut as a producer on the group's latest mini‑album, The Sin: Vanish, sharing insights into both the creative process and the less visible side of being a K‑pop idol.
Jake, whose real name is Jake Sienna, co‑produced the opening narration track "The Beginning (The Beginning of the Incident)" and the closing song "Sleep Tight" on The Sin: Vanish, ENHYPEN's seventh mini‑album, released on Jan. 16, 2026.
The album continues the group's vampire‑themed story, following the members as they escape from hunters and explore complex emotions around love, fear, and freedom.
Jake started working on material for the album after the group's previous promotion, and he later developed both tracks with guidance from senior producers, including Ca$hcow, who noted Jake's focus on clear, minimal sounds and emotional presence in the studio, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"The Beginning" sets the tone for the album with a driven hip‑hop feel and a spoken‑word style, helping to frame the story as if listeners are watching a news report about the group's escape.
Jake drew partial inspiration from the film Interview with the Vampire, sampling short clips in early demos, though these were removed in the final version so the music could stand on its own.

Meanwhile, "Sleep Tight" is Jake's first fully self‑composed song for ENHYPEN, written about the mix of happiness and anxiety after a long, tense escape, with bandmate Heeseung contributing lyrics that match the mood of relief and lingering worry.
In interviews, Jake has also spoken more openly about the unseen realities of K‑pop idol life, describing long training periods, strict schedules, and the pressure to maintain a perfect image, chosun reported.
He emphasized that while fans mainly see concerts, music videos, and promotions, members often face mental strain, limited personal freedom, and intense scrutiny over their bodies and behavior.
Jake said working behind the scenes as a producer has given him a new sense of agency, allowing him to express his ideas more clearly while still operating within the group's shared vision.
With The Sin: Vanish earning strong chart performance and critical attention, Jake has signaled that he wants to produce even more for ENHYPEN in the future, viewing songwriting and production as a way to deepen his connection with both the music and the ENGENE fanbase, as per Forbes.
