Mnet America’s New Reality Series '#mykpop' Searches For The Biggest K-pop Superfans In America

Mnet America is launching a new reality series #mykpop and are looking for the biggest K-Pop fans in America to star in it.

The program is slated to air this fall and will follow six K-Pop mega fans on their journey to this year's KCON, North America's largest Korean pop culture convention and concert, in Los Angeles August 24-25.

The series will document the lives of six K-Pop fans and how they fit into the worldwide Korean music and pop culture boom that has been rapidly growing for the past few years.

The series will end with the cast members attending KCON 2013, a two-day event at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

There is an open casting call going on now and interested parties should hurry up and submit an application - the deadline is July 19!

Mnet America asks that K-Pop fans interested in being considered for the cast of #mykpop submit photos and videos proving that they are the most unique and enthusiastic K-Pop fans in America.

Applicants are also asked to include a paragraph recounting the story of how they fell in love with K-Pop and how it fits into their daily lives.
