Jay Park released his new mini-album I Like 2 Party on July 10 and instantly it topped the domestic music charts. A day later and the Korean-American hip-hop artist's new single is showing up on music charts around the world.

Upon its release, "I Like 2 Party" ranked number one in many countries across Asia including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong.

According to Park's agency Sidus HQ, the title track also ranked high on iTunes in the US, Korea, Taiwan, Canada and Australia.

The incredible success of the new single album happened in less than 24 hours, said a representative from Sidus HQ.

There was already significant buzz around the new release when earlier this summer the title track was included in the ending credit's for the South Korean release of American actor Will Smith's latest movie After Earth.

Additionally, Jay Park has received praise for his hands-on involvement in the album. Along with singing, the popular rapper also produced the album himself, wrote all the songs' lyrics, and composed three quarters of the a tracks.
