Schooling is very important in nurturing everyone's future but I guess to some it's just a hobby to attend? Or maybe it's just not the right school for them? Just got busy to attend? Or could it be just publicity to earn praise?  

2PM Taecyeon is embroiled in the midst of these kinds of questions. He made another breaking news when he was able to land a spot in prestigious Korea University's School of International Studies, which earned him a lot of praise and respect  from fans and also in the public eye.  But it turns out that Taecyeon wasn't attending his classes at all.

Taecyeon said in his interview before his program commenced, "I wondered what it'd be like if I helped use the influence I have as part of 2PM internationally in a good way, so I decided on that major. I might not be a scholar, but It's something I want to try. I'm going to work hard so that I can become an ambassador of peace."

Even though some articles initially were reported about Taecyeon being attentive in classes, an actual student at the School of International Studies reveals the whole truth that Taecyeon hasn't been active in their school until that semester. 

A photo of Taeceyon's attendance sheet for the given class was showed and it seems  he has never been to class since the beginning of the school semester making his professor giving up on checking his attendance.

One student recall when he was on the top 5 classes of Taecyeon said that he'd seen him only once during the whole semester which led netizens to be curious whether that means he also haven't given his reports for midterms and finals.

Korea University's School of International Studies stated on their part saying "By school rules, a student gets an F is he is absent for more than 1/6th of the classes. However, there is a portion where the professor can give his own opinions for a grade. Even though Taecyeon registered, he missed his classes, so he probably hasn't received grades. It's difficult for him to expect grades if he's not coming to any classes."

 Netizens have been very vocal about the report and giving their opinions and criticism about celebrities who use their popularity and image just to get accepted into the school regardless of not to attending school at the end. Due to the fact that Taecyeon has a busy schedule promoting their groups album and some concert, he must be given a chance chance to explain himself about these incidents.

Taecyeon knows his priorities and having a great education is one of them.  He is now a graduate of Dankook University with a degree in business administration and was given an opportunity to get accepted in Korea University Graduate School for International Studies. 

Taecyeon may have a lot of opportunity ahead of him, and needs to juggle time wisely. Maybe he needs some time to manage things including schooling.
