The annual Mnet 20's Choice Awards was held last July 18 at KINTEX in Ilsan, and KpopStarz got to witness all the fun!

The theme this year for Korea's only summer awards ceremony was "Legend of 20's" where they aimed to bring the world, as well as different generations of youths, together through music.

Aside from the exciting awards, the night was filled with highly-anticipated stages of the nominated artists.

SISTAR opened the awards ceremony with a hot performance of their chart-topping song "Give it to Me" followed by their summer single last year, "Loving U". Their performance certainly got the crowd hyped for the night. The next performance was a joint special stage from Verbal Jint and Girl's Day for the song "In Summer".

INFINITE also took the stage and performed songs from their newest single: "Inception" and "Destiny". There was a lot of excitement for Infinite fans as it was the first time these songs were performed for their comeback.

20's Hot Band Daybreak and 20's Booming Star Roy Kim also had a special stage as tribute to Cho Yong Pil. Roy Kim started with the song "Let's Go on a Trip" and then ended the stage with a special performance with Daybreak of "Bounce" which made the audience sing along.

CL showed a powerful stage with her song "The Baddest Female" then surprised everyone when the rest of 2NE1 came onstage to perform their current single "Falling in Love".

Veteran idols Shinhwa also graced the stage with their performance of "This Love". Towards the end of the song, they started dancing on the raised platform which was such a treat for all the Shinhwa Changjos present in the crowd to support them.

There were also special performances related to MNET shows. There was a hip-hop stage from the rappers of the very first hip-hop survival show "Show Me The Money" and a special dance stage to promote the newest Mnet show "Dancing 9". These seem to really reflect Mnet's passion for music.

20's Performance winner SHINee heated up the stage with performances of "Why So Serious?" and "Beautiful". Shawols who have missed them since their goodbye stages were very happy to see them back on the stage.

The last stage was a special remix of "Bad Girls" performed by none other than Lee Hyori. - a true Kpop legend who continues to rock the stage. There were a total of 44 people with Lee Hyori onstage yet she continued to shine the brightest there.

The awards was attended mostly by fans who are in their 20s but music fans of all ages were present. It was also a global event as fans from other countries also came to watch the awards show live.
