Singer Wheesung was discharged from the army after 2 years of serving.

As he walked out of the army this morning, Hweesung said, "I want to eat, watch a movie, and rest with my parents who came here today. I also want to take a lot of naps."

About his plans for the near future, he said, "I want to travel for a bit and work on new songs. Please hope that a new album will come out soon. I will be meeting most of you through concerts more than TV shows."

Also, about having finished his 21-month service, he said, "I wanted to finish my time quietly and neatly but I deeply apologize that I brought issues upon myself. I'm more sad about my family members who would've had a hard time because of me. I'm happy that I will be able to sing again. Thank you all for visiting me here today."

Hweesung entered the army on November 7, 2011. His discharge month was originally June but because he sneaked in a phone, his discharge date was postponed.
