They've got the songs, now all they need is some time in the recording studio and a little bit of luck.

That was the message from a representative for the K-pop girl group Brown Eyed Girls on Monday regarding a new sub-unit featuring singer Narsha and rapper Miryo, according to the website allpop.

"Recently, we have decided on the [Brown Eyed Girls sub-unit] name and are preparing the mini-album," the rep said.

"We have already completed working on the songs and only have to record them now."

According to the Brown Eyed Girl's management, the Narsha and Miryo sub-unit will show a different side of both performers than fans are used to seeing.

"We plan on showing a different charm with Brown Eyed Girls's sub-unit through Narsha's tremendous singing and Miryo's unique rapping," the rep said.

"We will be releasing the music in mid-November and are in the midst of mediating."

Allkpop reader Jessi Jay is excited about the prospect of a Brown Eyed Girls sub-unit.

"I feel greatness in the making!" Jay wrote on Monday.

Reader Mizuki San agrees.

"Finally!" San wrote. "I was waiting Miryo and Narsha to come out with something."

But Chaloner wonders why Brown Eyed Girls singers JeA and Son Ga In can't be involved in the project.

"Why not just all 4 of them?" Chaloner asked.

Twinhearts is also puzzled by the move.

"I never understood the creation of sub-groups, especially for small groups with four to five members," Twinhearts wrote.

"But anything in relation with Brown Eyed Girls, I'm not complaining about that."

Brown Eyed Girls fan Everlasting Blackjac has just about had enough.

"2013 [was supposed] to be Brown Eyed Girls year!" Blackjac lamented. "JeA released her solo album, then Black Box. Ga In is supposed to release another album this year and now this! I'm going to fall out."

Although Fan Maynhp couldn't be happier.

"Now this is what I want," he wrote. "My two favorites from Brown Eyed Girls."
