Clara Breaks Down During TV Appearance While Reading Letter To Her Mother And Famous Father, Lee Seung Kyu Of Koreana

South Korean actress and model Clara broke down in tears on Monday on the television program "That Person At That Time," when she read a letter aloud that she had written to her parents for their anniversary.

"I am really happy that as an adult, I am able to work and give my parents allowances," she said, at which point her father, Lee Seung Kyu from the group Koreana, began to cry.

"After being raised overseas, I was hugged by my father for the first time when I was 20.  That is when I first realized a father's embrace is a very warm place to be."

She told Lee not to worry about the time they were apart.

"As it is all in the past, it is okay if you never dwell on it again," Clara said. "Please just think of me from now on as the daughter of whom you could be proud.  I really love you dad."

That was when tears began to fall from the 23-year-old actress's eyes.

Clara's emotional message to her parents also included a humble acknowledgement of the reach of her famous father.

Best known for their performance of "Hand In Hand" in the opening ceremony at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Lee's group Koreana officially disbanded in 2003

"While working, I came to realize how large my father's presence is," Clara said.

"How great the happiness is to live as Koreana's daughter."

In her normal self-deprecating fashion, Clara even threw in a reference to her infamously sizzling appearance throwing out the first pitch at a Korean Baseball Association game between Doosan Bears and LG Twins in Seoul, in a form-fitting outfit that wasn't exactly your standard regulation baseball uniform.

"Just like how I spread the name Clara when I through out the first pitch, Koreana spread their name through the 1988 Olympics," she said.

"What an honor.  Even now, it is truly amazing."
