Pokemon X And Y Pokedex [UPDATE]: Hoopa, Diancie, And Volcanion Appear In GTS Search Results!

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and the latest buzz about three hidden Pokedex entries has fans all abuzz!

Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa are three vastly different looking Pokemon which an anonymous hacker has discovered through RAM editing with a hardware hacked 3DS and partial decryption of the file system.

According to Pokejungle, similar trademark names called Dianshi, Borukenion, and Fuupa were discovered several months back, so it could add credence for this Pokemon X and Y Pokedex rumor. The hacker also elaborates that Volcanion is a Fire/Water dual-type, a new combination. Diancie is Rock/Fairy, and Hoopa is Ghost/Physic.

And recently, another piece of evidence shows that Game Freak indeed planted these three potentially legendary Pokemon, but for whatever reason, chose not to unveil them.

According to Tamashii Hiroka on YouTube, Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion are three names recognized by the Global Search Link (GTS) when players type in the names manually.

"If you type in Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa in the GTS, and deposit a Pokemon, other people are able to see your Pokemon in search results as a valid offer," says Hiroka.

Keep in mind that outside all the official Pokemon names found within the Pokedex, these three names are the only names which work in such an anomalous way.

The question remains, however, if Nintendo plans to use these Pokemon in the future, or if they are scrapped designs altogether.

Should Pokemon X and Y unveil these Pokemon in future DLC or events, would you be excited to add them to your Pokedex?
