Pokemon X and Y have been released, and thanks to anonymous hackers, certain Mega Evolution Pokemon have been uncovered within the game!

As previously reported, it appears Latias and Latios have Mega Evolution entries within the Kalos Pokedex, although they look nearly identical.

Pokejungle writes that these images were taken by an anonymous hacker through RAM editing with a hardware-hacked 3DS and partial decryption of the file system.

Although these two Mega Evolution forms of Latias and Latios look very similar, some have noticed a slight difference in size, and an eye color difference, although others believe it to simply be the angle.

And now, a new photo has surfaced by the infamous hacker Smealum, although this time only Mega Latios makes an appearance.

In the images, however, Mega Latios can be seen performing an attack, and you can make out the trainer in the background.

"I like the Mega Latios even more now," writes NoArcheops127. "Loving how the plane arms look now. And hope we get types soon."

"If we have more Megas, then maybe they're just not in the code yet! Maybe they hid them because of hackers! They just left a few to lead us on!" predicts defensivebastiodon.

"'Oh hey look! A bug in Lumiose City! Let's secretly add a new Mega Evolution while we're at it!'" says Jordanite.

Although these Mega Evolutions may exist somewhere within X and Y, there is currently no known way to obtain them regularly.

The Latias, Latios Mega Evolution rumor has also added discussion on the already fervent rumors surrounding a Ruby and Sapphire remake.
