Lim Kim Gets Introspective in 'Soap' Duet with Veteran Singer Lee Seung Hwan

Lim Kim has teamed up with veteran singer Lee Seung Hwan for a new track titled "Soap."

The music video for the single was released on December 10 via YouTube and in conjunction with Lee Seung Hwan's upcoming 25th anniversary as a performer.

The slow, introspective tune it beautifully accompanied by a simple piano harmony and features calm vocals from the two talented singers.

Neither Lee Seung Hwan or Lim Kim (otherwise known as Kim Ye Rim) amplify their voice above the soothing musical tones, keeping with the song's melancholic atmosphere.

In "Soap" the musicians sing as a depressed man and woman who once lived together. Both share similar feelings - once a love ends, everything else eventually leaves with it - memories, regrets, or hatred.

Lee Seung Hwan first hit the spotlight with his debut album BC 603 in 1989 and since that time has performed well over 1,000 concerts. He has been a major contributor to the Hallyu Wave, helping to spread Korean pop culture across the globe.

Lim Kim made her solo debut earlier this year with the single "All Right" after first gaining popularity for her participation in the televised singing competition Superstar K3 where she placed third.

The 19-year-old singer was chosen by Lee Seung Hwan for the "Soap" duet because of the relaxing tone of her unique voice.
