What is D.O.T? E-Sens Denies Starting His Own Label, No Definite Plans for a New Album

Some recent reports both in and outside South Korean have insinuated that former Supreme Team rapper E-Sens has started a new record label and will be releasing a new album next month. On January 5, he took to Twitter to clarify things.

"I'm letting you know late. There's an article that says that JTONG and I made a 'D.O.T label' and that I'm releasing an album in February," E-Sens tweeted to his followers. "D.O.T is not a label and I haven't planned anything for the album yet. I'm tweeting because a lot of people are asking."

In an attempt to clarify just exactly what D.O.T is if not a record label, the rapper continued, "D.O.T is something for me, JTONG, and our friends to perform, play around, and do things. I don't think it's a crew. I don't even know what it is. It's just D.O.T."

Korean hip-hop duo Supreme Team disbanded in July after it was revealed that E-Sens's contract with their label Amoeba Culture had been terminated.

Shortly afterward, a dynamic series of diss tracks were released creating a back and forth war of words among E-Sens and his friend, fellow rapper Swings, with his former Supreme Team partner Simon D and Amoeba Culture.

JTONG's name was also tossed around in the battle with Swings and E-Sens claiming Amoeba Culture was challenging the rapper's loyalty in an attempt to steal him away.

JTONG, however, has apparently chosen sides and whatever he has going with E-Sens at the moment with the D.O.T project has many fans curious and excited.
