Super Junior member Kangin will be stepping up as the MC of MBC Music's "Show Champion." He will be returning full-scale to broadcasting after his return from military enlistment. However, he refrained from having an MC initiation, being thoughtful of Leeteuk.

Producer Park Chan Wook of "Show Champion" stated on the 7th, "Kangin has been praised for his strong sense of entertainment on various programs. We think he is the best fit to be the MC for 'Show Champion,' which blends music and entertainment," and voiced the reason for choosing Kangin for this role.

Kangin's first broadcast will be on the 8th. There were plans to have a special stage for MC initiations. However, upon learning news of Leeteuk losing his father and grandparents on the 6th, the special stage was cancelled. They're planning to continue without fanfare out of sympathy for Leeteuk.

Kangin stated, "I'm going to be an honest MC that doesn't put on a facade. I want to make each episode feel like it's a festival. I'll try my best to help all the singers become one," and revealed his feelings on becoming an MC for the show.
