K-Pop Crossover: YG Rapper Releases 'Left, Right' Single As YG Entertainment Vows To Keep Label On Top

YG is starting 2014 in style, both the American rapper and the K-pop record label, YG Entertainment!

Recently, American rapper YG released his new single "Left, Right" on iTunes.

Reportedly, YG is planning to release his delayed album "My Krazy Life" on March 18 through Jeezy's restructured CTE imprint. The first single off the upcoming album titled "My Nigga" became the biggest hit of the rapper's career, peaking at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

In addition, a track titled "Who Do You Love" featuring Drake is expected to be released after "Left, Right." The track is produced by DJ Mustard, and according to Hip Hop Wired, is dedicated to women.

Meanwhile, K-pop record label by the same name is planning to start 2014 by working harder than ever.

In an interview earlier this week with the Korean media outlet OSEN, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk revealed his new outlook on his productivity in the coming year.

"I'm going to work even harder in 2014. I go to work with the attitude that every day is a Monday," he said.

"These days, I go to work early in the morning and come back home late at night. It was hard at first because for a long time, I used to get up late in the afternoon, work all night, and then go to sleep in the morning. But I've made the decision to change my lifestyle so that YG could make it to the next level."

With top K-pop acts like Big Bang, Psy, Epik High, and 2NE1 under the label, no doubt YG Entertainment has big plans for 2014.
