Pokemon Bank, Transporter Asian Re-Release Monitored By Nintendo Of Europe And America: Worldwide Release Date TBD!

Nearly one month after the initial planned release date of Pokemon Bank, the service along with its companion Poke Transporter has been re-released in Japan.

Yesterday, the Pokemon Bank was once again added to the Nintendo eShop in Japan as well as select Asian countries.

For the select few who already have Pokemon Bank installed before the server crash, a new patch has been released which demands a re-download.

Fortunately, this patch is said to add countermeasures to prevent Pokemon Bank from causing server overload. According to Serebii, this patch narrows down the multiple connections to the Nintendo Network ID server, the eShop server, and the Bank server to just one connection.

Unfortunately, a release date for North America, Europe, and other parts of the world still remains to be seen.

The free trial for the Pokemon Bank has been extended to end on February 21 instead, so users can still take the time to check out the service before committing to it.

With Pokemon Bank finally seeing the light of day, hopefully any backwards compatibility or Pokemon transferring problems will subside.
