After losing two straight, Florida State defeated Wake Forest on the road by seven points.

"In order for it to be significant we've got to stack on some more wins," Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton told tallahassee.com. "Obviously we're playing one of the hottest teams in the ACC (tonight). They get out and push it. They put it on the rim and there's no question they're the most athletic team in our league."

Florida State will have to attack the boards like it did on Saturday night to have any chance of picking up a signature conference win tonight at the Civic Center, but faces a team that is eighth in the nation in rebounds.

"If we come out and play how we played in the second half we'll be straight," Thomas said. "We dug ourselves a deep hole by losing five out of six. No one in the locker room, no one on the team got down, everyone just stuck together. We had a good week of practice, a good week of preparation and we were able to come in and get a good win against a good young team."

Every game matters for the Seminoles, who are considered a bubble-team. A victory would mean a lot for their chances to get into the big dance. A loss would set them back with only a few weeks to go.

"We've just got to keep playing," said senior guard Ian Miller, who had a career-high 25 points on Saturday. "If we keep playing like we can play, keep doing what we're doing, we'll be good."
