The inevitable showdown between Girls' Generation and 2NE1 has arrived on Inkigayo, and this week, 2NE1 has taken the crown over SNSD.

This week on Inkigayo, 2NE1 performed both their comeback singles for "Crush," titled "Come Back Home" and "Gotta Be You." This is the first live performance video of "Gotta Be You," and you can check it out below.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation also performed their newest single "Mr.Mr."

In the final showdown, it was 2NE1 who narrowly beat out Girls' Generation, and you can see the girls' surprise at the result. Girls' Generation and 2NE1 rarely overlap in promotions, and 2NE1 hasn't beaten Girls' Generation since "I Don't Care" in 2009.

And it is perhaps because of these reasons that Bom burst into tears, despite it quite commonplace for 2NE1 to sweep charts and garner awards.

"Wow congrats 2NE1 I'm glad they won this," writes Emma Choi on YouTube. "Stop the fanwars people."

Some people, however, are criticizing Girls' Generation member Sunny's face as 2NE1 was announced to be the winner. Others, however, believe she was simply tired or perhaps sick.

"To all of you hating on Sunny, she obviously was upset about something even before 2NE1 won, because before they even announced the winner, she looked really out of it," adds Jessica Gane.
