Pacquiao vs Mayweather Fight: PacMan Crushes Bradley! Arum Calls For Boycott Of Mayweather-Maidana To Force Money Into Superfight!

Manny Pacquiao has resolved another loose end in his career. The travesty of his loss to Tim Bradley, one of boxing's shameful moments, has been set right.

It was almost the same fight as they had in 2012. The only difference was just the judges got it right. Pacquiao controlled the fight, although he got bloodied with a headbutt in the last round. When the final bell rang, Bradley celebrated just like he did the last time. But no one's falling for that now.

No one's calling for a rematch now, not even Timothy Bradley. 5 years younger than Pacquiao, he understands that his opponent, whom he acknowledged as "one of the greatest fighters in the world" would have no more time for him.

Pacquiao, as usual would give props to his opponent and his coach. From ESPN: "He gave me a good fight. He's not that easy. I listened to my corner about keeping my hands up and timing. He threw a lot of punches. He threw wide, wide, wide hooks. I got hit one time and said it's not good to be careless."

Bradley claims he strained his right calf in the first round. It threw off his entire strategy and he seemed to be looking for a 'lucky punch' to knock out the PacMan: "I tried, I really tried. I wanted that knockout. Manny is a great fighter, one of the best in the world. I lost to one of the greatest fighters in boxing. I kept trying to throw something over the top, that was the plan. I knew I had to do more in this fight than in the last fight."

The fight formally ends the Bradley chapter of Pacquiao's storied career. Is Mayweather up next?

Bob Arum, head of Top Rank Promotions would love to. He wants to take drastic measures to get what he wants. From the Las Vegas Sun: "The only people can make Floyd Mayweather fight Manny is the public if they boycott the nonsense on May 3rd. That's when the fight will happen without any precondition on either side. If you want a [Pacquiao] fight, don't buy [Maidana] on pay-per-view and don't buy tickets for it."

The animosity between Mayweather and Arum is one of the reasons why the fight won't happen. However, Freddie Roach told The Daily Mail the main reason that "Money" is shying away from his biggest payday:
"Floyd's main concern has become keeping that 0 (for zero losses) on his record. I don't see him taking any real risk of losing that before the end of next year, when he says he's retiring. 'It's not that he's afraid of Manny. No fighters are scared of anybody in the world. It's just that he believes if he goes out undefeated he will be seen as better than greats like Sugar Ray Robinson, who had losses on their records."

Time is running out and boxing fans can only hope. But obviously, it's on Mayweather now.
