With so many idol groups debuting each year, M.I.B is worried that their future rests on their latest album, 'The Maginot Line.'

The group appeared on the latest episode of Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook, where they performed 1TYM's iconic song 'Hot' and their own song 'Chisa Bounce.' In between performances, the four members sat down to talk with Yoo Heeyeol.

 When asked about the unique title of their latest album, 'The Maginot Line,' M.I.B was very upfront about the fact that their group's future rested on the album's success.

''Depending on how this album goes, M.I.B's path will be decided. Thus, 'The Maginot Line.' said the leader 5Zic. 'We've endured a lot over these three years, we've prepared and researched a lot. I feel like this album can be our Maginot Line.'

The Maginot Line was a border set up between France and Germany by the French after World War I, hoping to keep the Germans from invading France again. Germany was able to bypass the Maginot Line and invaded France during World War II. 

The group sees this latest album as their latest attempt to gain fame. If they fail, it will be considered a failed Maginot Line, like the historical one. 

'We want to perhaps rank high on the charts. You know, like really high. I thought we'd easily be in the top 10. But it was a fantasy,' a disheartened sounding 5Zic explained. 'That's why we're going to work harder, so that this album doesn't become our Maginot Line [failure even when doing everything possible to succeed].'

Even though M.I.B may be worried about their future, Yoo Heeyeol tried to motivate the group. He pointed out the that the popular singer Kim Yeon Woo had to wait 15 years before people recognized his name.

'It's not about being loved by the public. To keep doing something is sometimes enduring the passage of time,' explained Yoo Heeyeol. 'M.I.B will receive the support they want. I just wish you'll see it as your starting line, not your Maginot Line.'

Hopefully, 'The Maginot Line' won't lead to the failure of M.I.B, but instead will lead to success.
