Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire Release Date In November 2014 For Nintendo 3DS: Volcanion And Hoopa Related To Hoenn Confirmed Remake?

The long-awaited remake for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire has finally been confirmed by Nintendo—Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire will arrive in November!

Today, Nintendo announced the news which fans have been long anticipating, and it seems the Hoenn remake will be titled Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

You can check out the awesome box art for these Nintendo 3DS games, and it features the familiar faces of Groudon and Kyogre.

Very little is known about this Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remake, but we can assume that new content will be added, much like Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

One theory that is currently running is that the mysterious unrevealed Pokemon Volcanion (and possibly Hoopa) will somehow tie in to Hoenn remake.

According to SciresM on Reddit, the Volcanion event will be a side plot to Pokemon X and Y. In the screencaps, we see the protagonist inside a command center speaking to researchers who appear to be gathering information on the mythical Fire/Water dual-type Volcanion.

Given that Groudon and Kyogre has a lot to do with affecting the environment, could Volcanion have something to do with integrating Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to the storyline of Pokemon X and Y?

Only time will tell what sort of surprises Nintendo has in store for us, but in the meantime, you can say it...

HURNN CONFIRMED!
