Fans Lampoon Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire CoroCoro Leak And Sneak Peek Video Teaser: Hoenn Remake Means No Pokemon Z After X And Y?

As Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gets revealed, fans seem dissatisfied with the recent sneak peek video and CoroCoro leak.

Recently, Japanese variety show "Get TV" revealed the first official footage of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. However, the clip turned out to be nothing more than brief animations of legendary Pokemon Groudon and Kyogre.

Both the CoroCoro leak and "Get TV" sneak peek emphasized how both Kyogre and Groudon look different than their original forms, indicating either a new evolution or additional Mega Evolutions.

"These leaks and 'Get TV' have been SUCh a disappointment," wrote Shiny-Omega-Noivern on PokeJungle.

However, others have stepped up to defend the recent reveals, stating that Pokemon X and Y were revealed similarly.

"Most likely it was an entire new region and they had much more to announce and show us before launch. This time around it is a remake," justified MiniryuNinja.

But one thing people are wondering is whether this remake means there won't be additional content for Pokemon X and Y, like a DLC, or a sequel like Pokemon Z.

With the recent unveiling of Diancie (and Volcanion and Hoopa), fans had hoped that there was more to X and Y, but only time will tell if this will come true.

"Footage not final, and sound not in game…why bother showing this at all then?" asked Kleavers on YouTube.

In addition, the latest leak of CoroCoro also featured Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. However, it was only a one-page spread showcasing the already revealed box art.
