With all the recent news about EXO-M leader Kris allegedly filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to break his contract, additional information has come out regarding the K-Pop idol.

According to the Chinese media publication Sina, Kris went to a hospital in Guangzhou, China to have a checkup and was diagnosed with having symptoms of the heart condition myocarditis.

"I can't confirm that he has a heart problem, but his creatine, kinase and isozyme levels are higher than average, so we can't exclude the possibility of myocarditis," one of the CHinese physicians who treated Kris reportedly told the news outlet Sina.

"We suggest [the patient] undergo another examination, and if the result still shows high levels, we can then suggest treatment from specialists as well as rest."

Over the weekend, former SM Entertainment aspiring artist and friend of Kris's, Song Byung Yang, comment on the social networking site Weibo that, assuming the EXO-M singer is suffering from heart problems,he understands his decision.

"As a musician who spent seven years in Korea, I can completely understand Kris's decision and the dilemma he's going through," Song wrote.

"As an old friend of his, it wasn't easy seeing him struggle due to the severe mental stress and fatigue. Because his body couldn't handle it, he even [possibly] developed heart problems. Everyone, support and understand Kris. I hope that you show him even more kindness now."
