'Dumb and Dumber 2' release date, cast, and trailer updates are up that one of the original film's stars, Kathleen Turner, cannot help but express her excitement for the return of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels on the big screen.

"They're both very fine actors and it was good to be with them. It's very silly, very silly," said the 'Peggy Sue Got Married' actress. No official trailer has been released yet although Universal already unveiled two new posters for the sequel of the 1994 comedy film. The first poster shows the duo clad in orange and blue tuxedos with the caption: "Dumbing Soon."

Meanwhile, Carrey proves that comedians can similarly inspire people. Recently, the 52-year-old delivered a speech during the commencement ceremony of the Maharishi University School of Management in Iowa. Business Insider describes the speech to be "unexpectedly moving."

Carrey said that his father didn't believe that being a great comedian was possible. His father chose a "more stable" job as an accountant but years later, he lost that job. This prompted the then 12-year-old Carrey to do whatever they could to live.

"So many of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality. I learned many great lessons from my father, not the least of which, was that you can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love," he said.

The 'Dumb and Dumber 2' lead actor has likewise received an honorary degree, Doctor of Fine Arts Honoris Caus. During the ceremony, jokingly thanked the university for giving the honor to "someone who has conquered their ego."
