Following Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, here's WWDC 2014 recap that includes all new software updates and operating systems available on Apple devices in fall.

Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Apple finally unveils its latest desktop operating system Mac OS X 10.10 on Monday, dubbed as Yosemite.

A redesigned more user friendly interface brings OS X Yosemite towards a cleaner and crispier look similar to the appearance of iOS 7.

Notification Center features a Day View, which allows you to extend widgets from the App Store. The Spotlight is brighter than ever, with all new search bar centered in the middle of the screen.

iCloud Drive

Safari is also redesigned with a slimmer and smarter looking menu bar. iCloud Drive is a version of Dropbox and new email feature lets you send large attachments using the cloud as a middle man.

Mac and iOS Connected Like Never Before

You can use your Mac to place and receive calls if you have an iPhone device, you can even receive text messages from non-iPhone users. AirDrop finally works between iOS and Mac.

Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite will be available as a free update in fall.

One of the most awaited revelations from WWDC 2014 is its software update and this time Apple unveils the all-new iOS 8, which will be available this fall.

iOS 8 Huge for Developers. Massive for Everyone Else.

The new version of Apple's iOS will finally come to iPhones and iPads in fall and it is packed with many features made to make life easier.

Predictive Typing. Smartest Keyboard Ever.

Finally, Apple will provide its users with predictive typing that will guess your next word and can adapt those suggestions depending on who you are talking to.

You can now delete an email by merely swiping it, a number of gestures added to Mail. Messages also offers location sharing, you can now send audio snippets with the Tap to Talk feature and mute an existing thread if you wish to.

You can also respond to notifications without leaving the app you're in. Siri enhancements are also made available, it now includes song identification with Shazam.

Health app and HealthKit

Apple will now feature an app simply called Health. The concept is similar to Apple's Passbook app. The Health app will be able to pull out information from other third party health apps such as Nike to keep all the data in one hub.

Developers will use HealthKit to integrate their apps with the Health app.

HomeKit

Apple's HomeKit platform is like an all in one remote control that will allow users to control locks, lights, cameras, doors, thermostats, plugs and switches via one iOS 8 app.

Family Sharing

Family Sharing in iOS 8 will allow up to six people to share iTunes purchases, including apps, music and movies, provided the same credit card is linked to each iTunes account.

Families using the feature will also be able to access each other's calendars, reminders and photos.

Parents will also be able to control their children's purchasing ability. Children who have a parent's credit card connected to their iTunes account must ask permission from the cardholder before making a purchase.

Synced Photo Editing

The Photos app will automatically sync with iCloud to make all photos available in all devices.

The app will feature smart editing tools allowing users to crop and straighten images and adjust color and light levels of the photos.

Apple also announced two new iCloud plans: 20GB for $0.99 a month and 200 GB for $3.99 a month.

Revamped App Store

Apple finally listens to developers as they included a number of improvements to the iOS App Store, which will allow developers to offer multiple apps under a single bundle price. They will also be able to post videos and description of their apps, allowing them to describe and demonstrate how an app works for its target market.
