Juan Manuel Marquez has been accused of using steroids or PEDs (performance enhancing drugs). Pacman's coach Freddie Roach would definitely require VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) administered testing? Will this deter another fight with Manny Pacquiao?

Once upon a time, it was Manny Pacquiao declining Olympic style tests, but now his camp would be the one to demand it.

Even before the fourth Pacquiao-Marquez bout, Roach already told USA Today: "If (his body) is natural, I will kiss his ass."

Marquez was irritated when the topic came up on their 24/7 feature and defended his trainer, Angel Heredia Hernandez: "I think it's disrespectful when people start rumors like this. I have never done this type of work before. That's why my body has changed. I have been working very hard, specifically to get more strength. Angel is a professional and knows how much weight I am putting on. I am getting more speed and getting stronger at the same time."

What Angel also is-a convicted drug dealer.  From ESPN: "In 2002 a federal investigation into the infamous BALCO lab turned up evidence that Heredia was dealing drugs to those track icons. That year, the government's lead agent, Jeff Novitzky, tracked Heredia to a Laredo hotel and confronted him with wiretaps on which he could be heard boasting about his doping operation. Novitzky gave Heredia a life-altering choice: Do the right thing or do time."

After his latest triumph over Mike Alvarado, Marquez has shown a reluctance to face Pacquiao again saying, a Pacquiao-Mayweather match is better.

Pacquiao's trainer said he wanted both camps to do a pre-fight drug screening (VADA administered testing) to theoretically eliminate any suspicion.

"It would have been great for Manny's image because Mayweather had said he was on steroids,'' I said (to Pacquiao), 'You're clean, right? He said, 'Of course.' I said, 'Take the test.' He said OK. (Adviser) Mike Koncz agreed with it.''

As far as people thinking I am taking steroids? I would take the test. Let them take my blood. I don't care - just to shut everybody up. Of course my fight tests have always been clean. I don't know how those rumors get started."

Bob Arum, Top Rank promoter who handles both Marquez and Pacquiao claims other options are available: "There's a lot of stuff happening now and we have to see how this all shakes out. It may actually end up that the fighters who end up with Golden Boy, meaning Oscar, could be available to fight Manny, and they'd certainly want to do that."
