Psy's 'Hangover' MV Receives Much Attention From Overseas Media

South Korean sensation Psy has grasped the attention of the world once again.

The "Gangnam Style" singer released his new song "Hangover," which features Snoop Dogg, and has become the focus of various media outlets all around the world, including U.S. Billboard, TIME, Rolling Stones, Hypebeast, MTV, Buzzfeed, Popdust, New York Post, CNN, NBC, ABC, BBC and more.

Billboard published an article about "Hangover" on June 8, describing the "hilarious" video.

"Drunken brawling. Tipping shot glasses like dominoes. Swimming naked in fountains. Skipping around street carnivals. Wild karaoke. Kung fu in pool halls. Swirling dance beats. And of course, Snoop Dogg," wrote the music publication, a perfect start to explaining the music video for the single.

TIME wrote that "Hangover" was a great collaboration between Psy and Snoop Dogg and that it will be "5 minutes well spent" for those who choose to watch it.

The publication Hypebeast reported on the surprise appearance of Big Bang member G-Dragon and 2NE1's CL and stated that the song is the meeting of K-Pop style and Snoop Dogg.

In just 24 hours, "Hangover" has currently hit over 20 million views on YouTube.

Psy spoke to MTV News about the song's retro 8o8 hip-hop style beat.

"What I thought was I should refresh myself, and people, that I'm doing something different, so I thought about maybe changing genres," stated the singer.

When Psy wrote the track, he was reportedly trying to find something with a catchy hook, and eventually came up with one that would be perfect after a night of "over drinking."

"We [shot] that music video in Korea. . . Snoop and I both had only 18 hours. Snoop's calculation was 8 hours of shooting and 10 hours of partying. That's what he thought, and honestly, that's how I convinced to bring him to Korea," explained Psy of the filming process.

It's been nearly two years since the 36-year-old superstar released his hit "Gangnam Style," which recently passed 2 billion views, making it YouTube's most-watched video, according to New York Daily News.

Psy will be releasing his new title song "DADDY" this summer.
